	LPAC Practice options and rules are for 2007-2008 as follows: (More Coming, see Registration Information for more details.) Swimmers are required to swim only on the day(s) for which they have been scheduled. There are no make-up dates for inclement weather or pool unavailability. The LPAC board of directors reserves the right to change its practice times and sessions as dictated by the needs of the club. Swimmers may register for a maximum of three (3) practices per week with the exception of competitive swimmer who may also swim mornings. Important news for the 2007-2008 Swim season is posted below. Please read the following The dates for the mandatory parent meetings have been set and are August 28 and 29th for returning swimmers and August 30th for new LPAC swimmers. Please note: Metro swim shop will be in attendance for returning swimmers on August 28th and for new swimmers on August 30th for swim suit purchases. We will break up into competitive and non-competitive sessions again this year. At least one parent from each family must attend one of these meetings. You cannot send a friend or neighbor in your place as you will be signing legal waivers and completing medical information for your swimmers. You will also be making either full payment or half payment with the remaining balance being due November 2nd. If you are not a member of the Friendship Community Center, your program cards will be issued at this meeting, so if your status as a FCC member has changed since you completed your registration form, please let me know as soon as possible. If you do not attend one of these meetings, your swimmer will not be allowed to begin practices. Swimmers should not need to attend these meetings. LPAC Practice Policy in Regards to Inclement Weather & School Holidays No practices will be held if the Central Dauphin School District cancels classes for the day or closes early on account of inclement weather. Morning practices will be cancelled if Central Dauphin School District announces a delayed opening. No practices will be held when the Central Dauphin School District has a scheduled holiday closing. This includes all holidays that fall on Mondays throughout the school year. There may be limited practices conducted during the Christmas Break for competitive swimmers only.
